Physical damage is dealt by abilities that have orange text and my auto attacking people. this damage is reduced using armour which has diminishing returns so 100 armour gives around 50% damage reduction whereas 200 armour gives 75% damage reduction. items can be used to buy armour, physical damage, attack speed or armour penetration to boost damage frequency of damage dealt and damage reduction and armour reduction.
